Hi there! Im Brandon, owner of Brandon Slaughter Photography. I am a portrait and wedding photographer who absolutely loves his job and everything that comes with it. I grew up in the small town of New Roads, Louisiana where I first discovered my love for photography. I started my journey as a photographer at the age of 17 by being a photographer for the high school yearbook club. After high school, I attended Louisiana State University, where I honed in my technical skills by working as a sports photographer for the athletics department, while pursing my degree in Architecture. Besides being a photographer I am a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., PPA ( Professional Photographers of America),and an Architectural Designer in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Photography to me is like telling a story. What most powerful about being a photographer, is that with one push of a button you can freeze a moment in time, that you can never experience again. I appreciate the raw reality of everyday life, the fleeting beauty of those in-between moments, and I do my very best to take every picture with that in mind.
